SplashPad Texas Open at Park Lakes

Houston, February 18, 2006 –Park Lakes, a 1500-acre community off Beltway 8 just east of US 59 north, is the newest member of the Canyon Gate family.

SplashPad Texas at Park Lakes is Now Open. Family-style recreation leads the way in Park Lakes with SplashPad Texas. This fun-filled water-play park will provide outdoor amusement for the whole family, with many of its features available year-round.

Just 15-miles from downtown, Park Lakes host eight of Houston’s leading builders, each presenting architectural designs complimenting lakeside living in both gated and non-gated villages.

Gated neighborhoods offer homes from the low $100’s to $400’s, while non-gated neighborhoods offer homes from the low $100’s to $200’s both with premium homesites available now.

Through its convenient location on Beltway 8, Park Lakes residents can quickly travel to major employment, recreation and shopping areas, such as: Downtown Houston (15 miles), Bush Intercontinental Airport (8 miles), Deerbrook Mall (8 miles), Texas Medical Center (21 miles), and the Galleria (23 miles).

Residents of Park Lakes enjoy the privilege of living in Houston’s first “PowerHouse Community” powered by Time Warner. This exclusive benefit gives each resident discounted bulk services, including high-speed internet, digital cable and home security monitoring.

Throughout Park Lakes, neighborhoods wind through a network of lakes--currently totaling 6.5 acres. Each lake will be bordered by walking trails, as an added amenity for Park Lakes residents.
Students living in Park Lakes attend the highly-rated Humble School District, where a new Elementary School will open in Park Lakes in fall 2006.

In addition to Park Lakes, the Canyon Gate family of communities includes Stone Gate and Canyon Lakes at Stone Gate, an 1,800-acre development at U.S. 290 and Barker Cypress; Canyon Gate at the Brazos, a 600-acre community at Crabb River Road (the Grand Parkway) and U.S. 59; Legends Ranch, a 450-acre project is off I-45 and Rayford Road; and Canyon Village at Cypress Springs, a 182-acre non-gated community in the thriving Northwest Houston area and Westheimer Lakes, a 592-acre project that will feature gated and non-gated monitored neighborhoods built around a network of lakes.
