Welcome to Canyon Gate Communities - Gated and non-gated master planned communities

Westheimer Lakes Celebrates 1st Homeowners

HOUSTON, May 14, 2005 -- The first of many milestones has been reached at Westheimer Lakes, the latest in the Canyon Gate family to debut. Casey and Tonya Morgan are the proud owners of a new Perry home.

“We are so lucky to have found out about Westheimer Lakes,” said Casey. “We were looking for Perry Home, and just happened to have a friend tell us about the community. We fell in love with the atmosphere as soon as we got here. The location, the amenities, and the lakes sold us immediately. We moved from Lafayette Louisiana, and were shocked and excited about the technology and amenity features we will receive by living in a Canyon Gate community.”

The Morgan’s daughter, Caitlyn, also confessed that she liked living in Texas better than Louisiana, because Texas has pools in their neighborhoods.

Westheimer Lakes is located in thriving west Houston. The 592-acre project offers homes from the low 100’s-300’s, and will feature gated and non-gated monitored neighborhoods built around a network of lakes.

Centrally located between 1-10 and US 59 via the Grand Parkway, Westheimer Lakes is accessible to major employment and retail centers. The Westpark Tollway is planned to extend to the Grand Parkway in 2005, just minutes from the entrance to Westheimer Lakes.

Each home in Westheimer Lakes receives a Home Director network connection center, which enables residents to take advantage of the latest technology services such as broadband internet, digital telephone and home computer networking. Home automation and control is another great feature residents in Westheimer Lakes can experience. Installed in each home is an HA security system that can be modified to integrate with the homes lighting and thermostats. Home control increases the safety, convenience and efficiency of the home. In Westheimer Lakes, the future of home technology can be experienced today.

The first phase of amenities development in Westheimer Lakes focuses on the Canyon Gate trademark amenity, SplashPad Texas®. This multi-acre recreational water park will include a zero-entry pool, SplashPad, cabana with an exercise room, walking trails, and a wide array of sports entertainment.

Students living in Westheimer Lakes attend the highly-rated Lamar Consolidated School District.

In addition to Westheimer Lakes, the Canyon Gate family of communities includes Stone Gate and Canyon Lakes at Stone Gate, an 1,800-acre development at U.S. 290 and Barker Cypress; Canyon Gate at the Brazos, a 600-acre community at Crabb River Road (the Grand Parkway) and U.S. 59; Legends Ranch, a 450-acre Legends Ranch is off I-45 and Rayford Road; Park Lakes, a 1,500-acre project off Beltway 8 and Wilson Road and Canyon Village at Cypress Springs, a 182-acre non-gated community in the thriving Northwest Houston area.
