Park Lakes and Westheimer Lakes Open for Business


Houston, April 16, 2005 –Canyon Gate Communities has announced the grand opening of two new communities–Park Lakes and Westheimer Lakes. Both include the hallmark standards that stamp a Canyon Gate community, such as gated & non-gated neighborhoods priced from the low $100’s, advanced in-home technology, and resort-style recreation.

Westheimer Lakes
Westheimer Lakes is located in thriving west Houston. The 592-acre project offers homes from the low 100’s-300’s, and will feature gated and non-gated monitored neighborhoods built around a network of lakes.

Centrally located between 1-10 and US 59 via the Grand Parkway, Westheimer Lakes is accessible to major employment and retail centers. The Westpark Tollway is planned to extend to the Grand Parkway in 2005, just minutes from the entrance to Westheimer Lakes.

Park Lakes

The 1500-acre project is off Beltway 8 just east of US 59 north, across from Redstone Golf Club, home to the Shell Houston Open. Gated neighborhoods offer homes from the low $100’s to $400’s, while non-gated neighborhoods offer homes from the low $100’s to $200’s, both with premium homesites available now.

Through its convenient location on Beltway 8, Park lakes residents can quickly travel to major employment, recreation and shopping areas, such as: Downtown Houston (15 miles), Bush Intercontinental Airport (8 miles), Greenspoint (9 miles), Texas Medical Center (21 miles), and the Galleria (23 miles).

Each home in Park Lakes receives home automation and control feature.s Installed in each home is an HAI security system that can be modified to integrate with the homes lighting and thermostats. Home control increases the safety, convenience and efficiency of the home. The community is powered by Time Warner.

The first phase of development at Park Lakes® will include a guard-gated entrance, lakeside amenities, SplashPad Texas®, and a $2.5 million Recreation Center and Clubhouse.

Students living in Park Lakes attend the highly-rated Humble School District.
