CANYON GATE AT THE BRAZOS BRINGS HIGH-TECH LIFESTYLE TO COUNTRYSIDE SETTING
The wooded community of Canyon Gate at the Brazos is a high-tech retreat in a prime Southwest location. Just this month, a new technology feature has been made available to residents only–the ability to view the community’s gated areas over the internet.
Using the fiber-optic infrastructure that has been a trademark of Canyon Gate communities, digital video cameras are connected to the community’s neighborhood gates and on-site amenities. A total of 18 cameras are monitored by the 24-hour guard at the main guard house, with a recorded log on file for at least 31 days.
Residents have access to this feature through their community intranet, as part of the Canyon Gate package. In-home technology benefits include broadband internet access, and advanced networking connectivity through the Home Director Connection Center that is standard in each home. Also included in the price of each home is one year of free security monitoring through Canyon Gate Monitoring.
Amenity Package
Central to Canyon Gate at the Brazos is a $1.5 million Recreation Center & Clubhouse. It includes a Jr. Olympic Swimming Pool, rock fountain at the children’s wading pool, full facility luxury clubhouse, exercise equipment room, covered basketball court, lighted tennis courts, and a sand volleyball court. Children’s playground areas are featured near the clubhouse, with park benches and picnic tables for residents’ convenience.
One of the newest amenities for Canyon Gate at the Brazos residents is a neighborhood pocket park and playground. Noted for the ivy topiaries of a 4-foot elephant and a 7-foot giraffe, the park has play equipment and swings that are geared for infants and children up to 12 years of age. There is also a green space for enjoying field sports. The entire park area is enclosed with a wrought iron fence, with landscaping accented by oak trees and seasonal color.
Brazos Builders
Homes in Canyon Gate at the Brazos range from the $100’s to the $300’s, with many new neighborhoods opening this year.
Builders Deerwood Homes, First Texas Homes, Kimball Hill Homes, Legacy Homes and Maplewood Homes currently offer new designs, prime homesites and ready-for-move-in homes in a variety of sizes.
Later this year, the community will announce the Grand Opening of Canyon Lakes at the Brazos, a new gated section built around a series of lakes.
Developer Land Tejas
Today Land Tejas Companies has developed four Canyon Gate communities, and is in early development stage on four more. Current Land Tejas projects include Stone Gate, an 1,800-acre golf-course community located at U.S. 290 and Barker Cypress; the 400-acre Canyon Gate at Northpointe on State Hwy 249; and Canyon Gate at the Brazos, a 600-acre community at Crabb River Road (the Grand Parkway) and U.S. 59.
