Welcome to Canyon Gate Communities - Gated and non-gated master planned communities

Canyon Gate Goes High Tech

HOUSTON, October 9, 2004 –The fall season has arrived and the fun continues at the Legends Ranch recreation center.

All year long, residents will have access to the children’s play area, jogging trails, and the $1.5 million clubhouse. Residents will be able to enjoy a stroll along the jogging trails, relax on the arbor benches, and watch their children play at the playground.

Also serving as the community’s information center for homebuyers, the lodge-style clubhouse offers a place to meet neighbors. Its inviting fireplace and covered veranda offer a retreat for Legends Ranch neighbors to gather, to throw parties, and to relax.

“The Legends Ranch Recreation Center is designed to entertain residents all year round,” said Al Brende, co-founder of Land Tejas Development. “The stunning facilities provide a warm and inviting place for new neighbors to meet, children to play, and old friends to catch up.”

The recreation facility is open Tuesdays through Saturdays 10 a.m. through 6 p.m. and Sundays noon through 6 p.m.

In addition to Legends Ranch, the Canyon Gate family of communities includes Stone Gate and Canyon Lakes at Stone Gate, an 1,800-acre development at U.S. 290 and Barker Cypress; Canyon Gate at the Brazos, a 600-acre community at Crabb River Road (the Grand Parkway) and U.S. 59; and Canyon Village at Cypress Springs, a 182-acre non-gated community in the thriving Northwest Houston area.

Later this year, Land Tejas communities will introduce two more communities–Park Lakes, a 1,500-acre project off Beltway 8 and Wilson Road; and Westheimer Lakes, a 592-acre project that will feature gated and non-gated monitored neighborhoods built around a network of lakes.
