LEGENDS RANCH DEBUTS REC CENTER

HOUSTON, August 14, 2004 –Just as Legends Ranch hits its summertime high, the community’s centerpiece–a $1.5 million Recreation Center & Clubhouse –makes a splashy debut. Residents of Legends Ranch can now enjoy full access to swimming pools, children’s play area, jogging trails, and world-class clubhouse.

Pint size residents are celebrating in the toddler splash pool – a zero-entry wading pool complete with fountains–while budding athletes complete laps in the Jr. Olympic pool. And there’s more–an extensive children’s play area, arbor benches and jogging trails provide year-round recreation against the wooded backdrop of Legends Ranch.

Also serving as an Information Center for prospective home-buyers, the expansive clubhouse is a great place to meet neighbors in this resort-style setting. It is designed as a lodge-style retreat, complete with fireplace, covered veranda and a fully equipped kitchen. The clubhouse is available to residents for events and meetings.

“This recreation facility is the crown jewel of Legends Ranch,” said Al Brende, co-founder of Land Tejas Development. “It is a stunning piece of architecture with emphasis on style and comfort–a great place to meet the neighbors and enjoy time with your family”

The recreation facility is open Tuesdays through Saturdays 10am-6pm and Sundays 12pm-6pm. For more information, visit www.canyongate.com.

In addition to Legends Ranch, the Canyon Gate family of communities includes Stone Gate and Canyon Lakes at Stone Gate, an 1,800-acre development at U.S. 290 and Barker Cypress; Canyon Gate at the Brazos, a 600-acre community at Crabb River Road (the Grand Parkway) and U.S. 59; and Canyon Village at Cypress Springs, a 182-acre non-gated community in the thriving Northwest Houston area.

Later this year, Land Tejas communities will introduce two more communities–Park Lakes, a 1,500-acre project off Beltway 8 and Wilson Road; and Westheimer Lakes, a 592-acre project that will feature gated and non-gated monitored neighborhoods built around a network of lakes.

To visit Legends Ranch, from downtown take I-45 North to Rayford Road and turn right. Proceed approximately 3 miles to the entrance to Legends Ranch, on the left.

Canyon Gate developments are equal opportunity housing communities.
