Free Golf Introduces New Communities
HOUSTON, March 13, 2004 – It’s the biggest golf promotion ever offered by Canyon Gate communities, with 5 destinations for home shoppers to choose from. By visiting the model homes of any of the 5 featured Canyon Gate communities, those who complete their registration card will receive 2 free passes to Houston National Golf Club.
The promotion begins this weekend and continues through April 5. And while limited to the first 500 registrants per community, visitors can qualify for 2 free golf tickets for each designated community they visit.
“Our Free Golf promotion is a popular event citywide,” said Land Tejas co-founder Al Brende. “It is a win-win promotion because it brings interested buyers to see what’s new in our communities, and it introduces the Houston National Golf Club to those who might not know it is located in Stone Gate.”
Brende also noted that Houston National has enjoyed increased play over the past several months, as more golfers become familiar with the course’s attributes. The 18-hole course, soon to be 27 holes, has been ranked the #2 course in Houston for the past 2 years, according to USGA Course Ratings.
Legends Ranch
Two new communities are included in this round of Free Golf. One is Legends Ranch, a 450-acre community that just celebrated the grand opening of 13 furnished model homes. Legends Ranch is characterized by tree-lined neighborhoods, lakeside homesites, and a winding street plan.
Displaying the hallmark sign of a Canyon Gate community, the entrance to Legends Ranch is a drive-thru manned guard house with EZ-tag entry for residents and monitored access to visitors.
Straight ahead is the community’s centerpiece–a $1.5 million Recreation Center & Clubhouse. Residents of Legends ranch will soon able to enjoy the facility’s toddler splash pool, jr. Olympic pool, extensive children’s play area, arbors and jogging trails.
Canyon Village at Cypress Springs
Showcasing 5 new model homes, upgraded technology and pre-grand opening prices, Canyon Village at Cypress Springs is the latest of the Canyon Gate family of communities to make its debut.
Offering homes from the low $100’s to the $200’s, Canyon Village builders are BlueStone Homes, First Texas Homes, Gehan Homes, Hallmark Design Homes and Kimball Hill Homes. Technology-ready homes include advanced in-home wiring and a Home Director® networking distribution center in every home.
Canyon Village is located on FM 529, just west of Fry Road.
Sales Success
For the second quarter in a row, Stone Gate has been listed as Houston’s 2nd most active master-planned community for new-home construction in American Metro/Study’s ranking of master-planned communities. Prior to that ranking, Stone Gate was the city’s 3rd most active community for more than a year.
“The kind of growth we have experienced with Canyon Gate Communities has been phenomenal,” said Land Tejas co-owner Al Brende. “For our Stone Gate community to be ranked second only to The Woodlands is truly an illustration of that growth.”
